FAQ:
Question: Why perform the Self-test?
Answer: Dear Customer, If you mis-wire a GFCI, it can not be reset, the green indicator LED will be on, by which it may prevent personal injury or death due to a ground fault (electrical shock). If you mistakenly connect the LINE wire to the LOAD terminals, it will not provide power to either the GFCI outlet its self or the load terminal fed through the GFCI.
Question: If the upstream gfci is 15Amp, would the downstream gfci have to be in 15Amp?
Answer: If you already have an upstream GFCI and it is wired in a correct way, no need a downstream GFCI any more, as a well-wired GFCI protects all downstream circuits.
